Open Market Day – "Our Place" Tea Room
"Our Place" is a drop-in tea room in the Maryborough City Hall, opened in conjunction with the Maryborough City Council. Refreshments are available, along with information and recreational reading matter. The room is staffed by volunteers, ready for a chat, and open each Thursday from 9am to 12.30pm.

U3A Celebrates 20th Birthday
The Maryborough and District Committee on the Ageing Inc. (MaDCOTA) President and members congratulate U3A Maryborough on celebrating its 20th Birthday on Saturday 28 August 2010. Congratulations to the present Executives as well as all past Executives, Tutors and members for their involvement & commitment for the past 20 years.
Twenty years ago MaDCOTA introduced U3A Maryborough, a worldwide organization with branches throughout Australia to the community.
U3A Active Retirement – the third age of their lives.
- To keep people mentally and physically active through a basic objective of shared learning.
- To provide programs of learning activities which give stimulation and development of their lives.
This has been a wonderful achievement for both MaDCOTA and U3A Maryborough.

All Mick Kruger Lookalikes will be on display at the Maryborough Seniors "Mayoral" Morning Tea. The peoples vote will be judged by gold coin donation, Peter Chapman (editor Chronicle) will judge the entrant he believes that captures the character of Mick Kruger.
All monies raised will be donated to Alzheimer Australia

Seniors Week – Bus Trip
