How to be a "Perfect Doctor's Patient"

Everyone is short of time these days. This makes the consultation time with your doctor important, and these tips will help you get value.

  • Stay with the doctor who knows you and your family background, which all helps in making the right diagnosis.
  • Come prepared with your specific concerns and any questions you want answered (even write them down if need be).
  • Be honest holding back on important information hinders your doctor; remember your consultation is confidential.
  • Bring a relative or friend if you need help to recall your consultation of what you are told or have hearing problems.

I found this while waiting to see my doctor:

Laughter the Best Medicine -

  • Borrow money from pessismists they don't expect it back.
  • Half the people you know are below average.
  • A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.
  • The early bird may get the worm, but second mouse gets the cheese.
  • I intend to live forever so far, so good!
